I thought I would share something new for me – interiors! It’s definitely something that I’m really interested in and something I wish I had more time (and money) to explore. I picked up some fab pieces from the lifestyle store Red Earth in Mullingar and Dublin, and I wanted to share some snaps.
I think my home interior style is similar to my personal style; minimalistic, classic and feminine. This is something that Red Earth do very well – shopping made too easy!! I could spend all day searching on Pinterest for decor ideas – someday I will have a house like some of these… someday! Something I’ve always looked forward to is customizing my home to suit me. Not everything on the market is going to suit you, unfortunately, and that’s why I enjoy customizable companies and furniture so much! For example, these custom shower doors would be a great asset to my future home, and the ability to personalize any wallpaper would be great.
When I lived in New York last year I really didn’t spend much time decorating as I knew where I was living was temporary – one of the things I was really looking forward to about coming home was finding a new apartment and being able to make it cosy and somewhere I really wanted to come home to. I’d have selected my favorite color of paint for the walls and would have looked for cute wall decalsto give my rooms some character too.
Finding a new apartment was so much fun! I spent hours and hours looking at gorgeous properties on the Space Station website for inspiration. I am so fascinated by real estate. That being said, it is always bittersweet moving on. But when you see properties like the Vue in San Pedro, CA (see here – https://www.thevueresidences.com/), you can’t help but get all giddy and excited at the prospect of moving into a modern high-rise as luxurious and as captivating as that and all worries just start to melt away.
Nonetheless, Red Earth was a great find for me – they stock exactly the kind of interiors, gifting & accessories I just dream about and I love that it stocks lots of amazing Irish born brands, with one of my favourites definitely being Mindy Browne’s (you can see I featured quite a few of their pieces in the photos).
