Hi there,
Happy Monday! I had the nicest weekend in Galway with my family – you may have seen on my Snapchat (username: lou1409) that some of my family from America were home, so we got to be tourists for the weekend and we went out to the largest of the Aran Islands, Inis Mór. There were 27 of us in total cycling around the island on the most beautiful of Irish summer days (we got so lucky with the weather) it felt like we were kids again! It’s not often these days I get an opportunity to spend so much time with my family so it was lovely. A weekend we all will remember forever!
After spending almost 3 years working in Tourism Ireland trust me I know how amazing Ireland is; how many amazing scenic spots there are to visit, how nice the people are and how it is literally the best place to be ON EARTH when the sun comes out. After the weekend in Galway I really want to make an effort to see more and spend more time in other parts of Ireland. Donegal is at the top of my list, can you believe I’ve never been?
Anyway, I’m in Dublin for the moment haha. I managed to catch another glimse of the Irish sun last week when I shot this look, brought to you by Magnum. It made me even more excited to be at home for the rest of the summer. The last month has been amazingly packed with lots of travel but I’m very excited to have some time at home now to enjoy what I can of the Irish summer and to get used to my new routine as a full time blogger (if you follow me on Snapchat (lou1409) you’re already on that journey with me!)
